This May, as a part of the integrated marketing campaign, Alto Adige Wines will participate in two exciting, consumer events which will feature an array of wines from the region, presented by the Cornerstone Alto Adige team. The American Cancer Society’s sixth annual “Taste of Hope” event, on May 5th at 82Mercer in New York City, is a culinary, wine and spirits tasting. In 2010, “Taste of Hope” welcomed 800 attendees with small plates from New York’s best chefs and restaurants. With sponsors such as Wine Spectator, the “Taste of Hope” event maintains a reputation of excellence in culinary and wine communities. Alto Adige’s 2011 advertising campaign in Wine Spectator created this “added-value” opportunity. This year, Alto Adige will be showcased alongside other international high-quality wines; once more bringing a blend of Alpine and Mediterranean flavor to New York City.
The wines
of Alto Adige will also be featured at the third annual “Around the World in 80 Sips” event on May 20th in Chicago, as an extension of the digital media campaign. Presented by Bottlenotes.com, the premier online wine community, “Around the World in 80 Sips” brings top wines of the world to consumers, uniting the online wine community with wine advocates. Approximately 750 wine enthusiasts are expected to take part in the event, with 80% under the age of 40. Participation of younger generations eager to discover new wines raises awareness of exceptional brands, regions and products. A range of Alto Adige wines will be featured at a table during the event, unveiling the region’s superior varieties to consumer enthusiasts.
